Los Angeles, CA – Alchemy Glass & Light – a boutique manufacturer of handcrafted bathroom sinks, mirrors, lighting and countertops based in downtown Los Angeles - has introduced a new range of Integral Sinks.

Their new Integral Sinks feature a countertop with a slumped basin in clear glass that has a mirror underneath. The countertop is created by fusing precious metals and minerals within a layer of thick glass to form an organic color palette. Artist Steve Weinstock has come up with several glass designs for this countertop series. The Terra Nova model features fragmented glass shards between a layer of thick glass in a marine-colored hue. For this model, the mirror reflects the color and pattern of the Terra Nova from below. Another result of the mirror is that from afar the clear integral basin appears to be silvered itself. In addition to the Terra Nova design, the sink is also available in the Cosmic Burst design. This product will most likely be a made-to-order piece, with the showroom providing dimensions and Alchemy Glass & Light crafting each one to exact specifications.
